The monthly ritual offerings are made in three ways - 1. Feasting Vedic Braahmin Pandits; 2. Pindas ( Cooked Rice Balls ) offered to Holy Fire ( Agni Havanam ); 3. Food offered to A Cow ( Gowh Maatha ) or in the absence of A Cow, a food ball is left at a high place for crows to feed upon ( Vaayasa Pindam ) - all these methods facilitate food and water reaching JeevAathma on It's arduous journey and fit to resume journey southward. After ritual offerings by family of Food , Drinking Water, and essential items of livelihood, with due reverence to deserving Vedic Learned Pandits, Cow and / or Crows . Journey continues Southward towards Sixth Stage - Om Aathma Saanthi, Om Bhootha Saanthi, Om Daiva Saanthi.
