AATHREYA Dr.BalaKrishna Murthy Ramaraju – LIFE STAGES
As an Infant I was ignorant and innocent
I had no sense of shame
And what is wrong and what is right
But no one took me to task
As everyone is very tolerant
Then timely feeding was my sole interest
When I was a child my days were carefree
That is how happy times I spent
Learning to walk and speak
Taking first steps into alphabet
Those were the days of contentment
Being certain that I could get what I want
As a teenager and an adolescent
I was very obedient
And never was I arrogant
At school a good student
I loved my freedom and sport
Learned to play cricket
As a husband I was headstrong and adamant
Fortunate to have a wife good and obedient
Lo and behold then I became myself a parent
A stern father at heart
My work was of paramount interest
That was all in the recent past
Fast forward to the present
At three score and ten years in fact
To it add five more years to be correct
That makes me seventy five years exact
A senior for benefit but young at heart
A happy contented grand parent
Living to my best every moment
With nonchalant detachment
No thought about future nor past
Being neither a sinner nor a saint
Confident that I will be taken care of to the fullest extent
This is AATHREYA in Bhaarath India at present
