Blessed by Sri Mahaa Lakshmi Devi hence Sri Panchami
Also designated as Naaga Panchami and Garuda Panchami
Naagas and Garuda are the offspring of Kashyapa Brahma
They are cousins , but Their Mothers are different
Kadruva is the Mother of Naagas , The Reptiles ( Snakes )
Vinatha is the mother of Garuda , The Avian ( Birds )
Naagas are born earlier , hence The Elder Cousins
Garuda is born later ; Avians are younger cousins
As per evolutionary Biology also, Avians evolved from reptiles,
Reptiles occupying a step below Avians on the evolutionary ladder.
Both Snakes and Garuda are Oviparous , born out of an egg
And it is so that as per Zoology both reptiles and avians are oviparous
Sanaathana Dharma is scientific truth , Science personified
Aadi Sesha is the bed on which Mahaa Vishnu relaxes
Garuda is the vehicle that transports Mahaa Vishnu
Aadi Sesha is Lakshman and Balaraam , companions of Vishnu
Garuda stands guard in the Temple of Mahaa Vishnu
Snakes adorn The Body of Mahaa Shiva
Snake venom itself is an anti dote to a snake bite –
Snakes can not do any harm to Mahaa Shiv as He Himself
Is exposed to GaraLam , The Snake Poison – a scientific fact
